First day back after "vacation", but I didn't get enough vacation to get any real planning done, change the bulletin board, or rotate the picture books. Today was sort of spastic and a bit exhausting, but as far as things accomplished, not too bad.
All:
- Illustrated Catechism - Inos Biffi
- Angel Food v. 1 -- 1 story
- Little History of the World -- chapter about ancient India, along with mapwork (mostly for K's benefit, but G was also interested in looking at the language/culture maps, which showed the different language families including Indo-European); also had some interesting discussion about Buddhism and the merits (and possibility) of not wanting anything, bad OR good
- Be Glad Your Nose is On Your Face by Jack Prelutsky -- various poems, much giggling. K read aloud long after I said that I couldn't read anymore because I had to eat lunch.
