I really grew in my faith during my twin pregnancy/birth. All babies are miracles, but multiples seem just a little bit more miraculous (if that makes any sense!)

If you don't mind my asking, are your twins identical or fraternal? And as long as I'm being nosy are they boys or girls or boy/girl. I hope you don't think I'm being too nosy (if I am just tell me). The names Pip and Pop leave a little to the imagination:)
Sorry I'm writing a book here.
Happy (early) Birthday Pip and Pop!

Nope, I don't mind you asking :-). The answer is a little problematic, though, because *I* think they're fraternal, but most people can't tell them apart. (They're boys. When I gave them their blog names, they were only a few months old and I couldn't resist. In real life they have properly masculine names which do not begin with the same letter.) They were were in separate sacs, separate membranes, but we were told there was still a 30% chance they would be identical. When they were born, they looked so much alike that we were afraid to take their hospital bracelets off.

Anyway, we didn't have any tests done, and they don't look as alike now as they did when they were born. So I think they're fraternal... and they just look really, really similar, like siblings sometimes do.

I had to break down and get a DNA test done. No one can tell Will and James apart, but to me they look different enough that I would wonder. The doctors were pretty sure they shared to same placenta and chorionic sac, but they weren't 100%.
Thanks for answering my questions.
BTW Pip and Pop are adorable nicknames. We call our guys Thing 1 and Thing 2.
