Alice Gunther

Praying for you as you run through this maze. I'm glad you had some encouraging news.

Woo hoo that is great news!! I love your line about kissing his shoes. :) My daughter has noticibly improved in only one month of therapy and home practice, and they were predicting a lot of work for her too (let me rephrase that - it still WILL be a lot of work, but she is already making progress) :)

Praying that this takes a huge hunk of stress off of both of you!

Amy and Alice -- thank you both for your prayers!

I just happened upon your site following a lead on WP for organizing school materials and I read the first post that came up and saw the letters TS. I read further to see if you would say what TS was, even though I thought I knew the answer. Then I scrolled your sidebar until I found it!

We are taking our son to a neurologist next Monday for our first consult. We're working on allergy testing now and are starting rehab for toe walking, complete with night braces. He's also received glasses and has a hard time with reading. Although, he's whiz at math. :-)

I hate to say it's a thrill to see someone else with a child in my "community" dealing with TS, but it really is. My family and friends know he has TS, but still don't really understand.

Anyway, I have no idea what I really wanted to say except I hope things are going well for you and your family.
