Now that is impressive! Way to go! I'm lucky if I get the floor swept and most of the children dressed lately!

Your week sounds wonderful. I will have to try to find some of those water color crayons for Pippin. I had to SMILE huge when you mentioned Gareth's Guide to Microlife. How many people own that book do you think? We just started studying protists and it is one of Caddie's new reads. I have to admit it is pretty cool. How dweebie are we? For a fun project, we had the kids adopt a protist and make a scupey model of their favorite, bake, paint and add buttons/beans for the little organelles. Gareth might like that. Hope you are feeling better!

I just found your blog and really like it. I regularly blog about my 7-month-old daughter, but I was just thinking about making it into a Montessori Mom-type blog and did a search to see what else is out there. (I have Montessori primary certification, which I purely earned for the purpose of knowing how to raise my children someday - I wasn't even married yet when I started the training course!) Do you mind if I include a link to your blog on mine?

Angela,
I can sure relate to the painting... we have the watercolor crayons around here too and love them. The 2 year old always wants to do EVERYTHING her big sister and brother are doing, and just last week she got into some acrylic paints that were left out.. uh oh - and the pink ink pad that was left open.

If my 7 year old wasn't such an artist at heart, I think we would be taking a sabbatical from all art supplies except pencil crayons (erasable ones) for the next few years!!
